A leader is someone who leads. Someone who coaches, inspires, and guides. A leader is someone who can take a team or group of people and motivate them during challenging times as well as keep them aligned and working towards sharing goals. A leader fosters collaboration, communication, and often steps in alongside their team members and leads by example.

I know they are capable, but I am not confident that they will empower others and I am concerned they will struggle with the strategic thinking necessary to lead the team. I am not sure that I want to invest in them if they can’t make changes.”
